Oklahoma State University Student Knights of Columbus Council
For practicing Catholic men 18 years and older

     * The Council serves as the men’s organization for St. John's University Parish 

• Monthly Luncheon Meetings: After the 11:30 AM Mass in the classroom in St. John Church (Second Sunday of each month, August—May)  

• Dues: $15 per year

    * OSU Knights of Columbus Student Council provides the following services to the parish:       

• Operates the parking lot which brings in over $10,000 a year to the parish during the football season  

• Provides a free dinner to the International Students each semester  

• Assists the mentally handicapped by soliciting funds from the public "The Toostie Roll Drive " in May each year  

• Promotes religious vocations through speakers at student dinners & visit seminaries  

• Helps fund Birth Choice by operating the parish parking lot during the Spring semester  

• Provides scholarships to the parish Early Childhood Center  

• Participates in Life Chain in the October - a public protest against abortion  

• Assist at the 11:30 AM Mass on the second Sunday of every month by handling all the assignments  

    * Special One Time Projects during 2001-02:       

• Purchased the material and recovered all the kneelers in the church  

• Purchased and installed a new ceiling sound system for the choir in the church  

    * Proposed Projects for 2002-03 Academic Year:       

• Robes for St. John Church Choir  

• Spanish Mass Hymnals
