Parish Council
Minutes: June 12, 2007
Present: Fr. Crevcoure,
Barbara Stalzer, Debbie Schroeder, Patty Weir, Marie Saatkamp,
Clem Ward
Absent: Rhoda Easley, Kelly Edwards, Lisa Healey,
Mike Lawson
Fr. Stuart opened the meeting with a prayer about 7:00 PM.
Program/Committee
Reports:
Religious Education –
Marie noted two parishioners need to be appointed to the RE board. The Council agreed that Marie and Fr.
Stuart could work together to name the new board members.
Early
Finance Committee –
An emergency finance committee was held regarding a failed air conditioning
unit. Bids are being sought and the
estimated cost will be about $15,000.
Pastor’s Comments
– Since Fr. Stuart has only been here a few days, the remainder of the meeting
was an informal question and answer conversation with Fr. Stuart simply for us
to know Fr. better and for him to know parish council members better.
Next
Meeting: The next regularly scheduled meeting is Tuesday, August 14, 7:00
PM, at
Fr. Stuart led the council in a closing prayer.
